PORT CONGESTION

Portnet advised at about 19h00 yesterday that there are 25 rows of trucks waiting to enter the terminal for tower 205. Drivers that entered the holding area at about the same time are still in the holding area waiting to enter the terminal. As the port is congested  we are currently  concentrating on stack closing and last free day storage containers.

Transnet has NOT indicated of extending stacks or extending the storage free period. TSI will NOT be held liable for any storage or l/arrival charges. Please note this will have a negative impact on all deliveries.

We have resources deployed at the various loading / offloading facilities in an effort to expedite the process.
